Contact lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism

New toric silicon hydrogel contact lenses from the company Johnson and Johnson. Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism follow the tradition of Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism (there is no need to visit an eye specialist in the case of transitioning from Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism to Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism).

Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism are characteristic with high oxygen permeability and perfect stabilization on the eye thanks to technology Accelerated Stabilisation Design (ASD) that uses blinking for maintenance of cylindrical correction at the correct place.

The Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism lenses are manufactured from highly oxygen permeable and hydrophilous material (Senofilcon B) just like their spherical version Acuvue Oasys. The content of water is 38%, and the lenses are also provided with moistening technology HYDRACLEAR, with the UV filter absorbing more than 95% of UVA and 99% of UVB radiation. It should be mentioned that contact lenses that absorb UV radiation are not adequate replacement of sunglasses with UV filter as they don’t cover the eye or areas around the eye entirely.

Contact lenses Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism are designed for a 14-day wearing cycle with everyday removal from the eye and consequent disinfection or, after agreement with your eye specialist, for permanent wearing for up to seven days and six nights.
